4 Steps to Power Goal-Setting:
- By using data provided from the school and/or from LeAnn’s powerful Assessment Tool, LeAnn plans with the school leaders to determine a 1-5 year professional learning plan that can be easily adjusted toward new data. After LeAnn guides the school into creating an Instructional Focus statement, she models and explains the SMART goal process that creates specific action steps for each month of the school year. These steps are doable, measurable, relevant, needed, and celebrated.
- Trainings and Lesson Planning Sessions are planned so that teachers can reach the goals to drastically change engagement, instruction and student achievement. Teachers clearly understand how to take the content from the training (no matter what the topic) and strategically place the tools and principles into daily lesson plans with these coaching sessions.
- Learning Walks and Feedback Sessions drive the next steps. Goals are constantly revisited, tweaked, and encouraged.
- You will be amazed how this powerful goal-setting process moves your school forward faster, day by day, month by month.
