If more people showed and received empathy, or the “social glue,” toward one another, people might perceive their stressors and life differently. They could respond more positively to their daily stressors and to those of others. We can turn this negative cycle into a positive one.
Every goal needs a coach who believes it can be achieved with hard work, effort, and perseverance. The whole process of accomplishing the main thing is built on trust -trust among the administrators and coaches with the teachers to help them grow and develop beyond what they thought they could accomplish.
Every student comes to a learning opportunity with a different schema or background knowledge. When students use these already-created, neural “superhighways,” learning is often more effective and efficient. When educators prepare, prime or pre-expose the brain before learning new information, they are helping students assimilate the information in smarter and easier ways.
